Job Details:

  • We are seeking a compassionate Pediatrician to work in our Bakersfield office
  • Join a group of 3 pediatricians and 5 advanced practice providers 
  • Schedule: 4-days per week, 8am-5pm
  • Rounding: N/A
  • Call Schedule: N/A

Education, Licensure & Certification

  • M.D. or D.O. degree required
  • Successful completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) approved post-graduate residency, or equivalent in Pediatrics
  • Current, Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of California
  • Current, Unrestricted California state specific DEA license
  • Board Eligible or Board Certification appropriate for degree certified within five years of finishing training
  • Meets all requirements in order to obtain medical staff membership and required privileges
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as required for hospital appointment.

The expected base salary range for this position in California is seen above. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Pediatric Associates offers are based on several factors including but not limited to the candidate’s education, work experience, and certifications, all of which are dependent on the requirements of the specific role. In addition to base salary, the Pediatrics Associates Family of Companies and its affiliates offers a comprehensive benefits package, potential incentive and recognition programs, and retirement planning (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements based on position, and division).
