Remote Opportunity

Preferred candidates local to NY, NJ, PA, FL, TX, CA, and FL

PRIMARY FUNCTION

Lead content and public relations strategies and be hands-on in developing brand messaging across multiple mediums including digital, traditional, advertising, internal messaging, and special projects to support the marketing and communication objectives and maximize the use of marketing best practices for both the enterprise and patients and families.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Directly manages geographically distributed team of marketing professionals. Mentors staff for their career development and personal growth.
  2. Creates strong partnerships with regional dyad leadership teams. Involves appropriate leaders in planning and implementation of strategic marketing and initiatives.
  3. Directs cross-functional teams to plan, execute and measure the impact of marketing, branding, and reputation management tactics, programs, initiatives, and campaigns.
  4. Creates and measures national and local strategies to attract newborn parents and new patients.
  5. Manages relationship with enterprise and regional ad agencies.
  6. Manages portfolio of brands, consisting of ~5 primary brands and ~75 secondary brands
  7. Assures adherence to brand positioning and identity. Manages sub-brands and new acquisitions in accordance with the organization’s overall brand strategy.
  8. Develops and executes marketing plans and manages marketing budgets.
  9. Monitors and reports on key performance metrics for marketing activities and adjusts strategies as needed to achieve goals.
  10. Participates in strategic planning, business development and key operational meetings.
  11. Assists with other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversees the Senior Manager of Community Education and Engagement, and Creative Manager.  Provides leadership and guidance to Marketing department personnel.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelors degree in related field required, Masters degree is preferred

 

EXPERIENCE:

  • 5 years of marketing/public relations related experience required
  • Previous supervisory experience required
  • Health care experience preferred

LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION

*Upon hire, and for the duration of the employment period driver’s license must be active and valid.*

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Marketing principles and strong working knowledge of the business of health care
  • Ability to explain and educate on marketing concepts
  • Leading a marketing program to advance an organization's mission and goals
  • Strong analytical and data/trend analysis experience
  • Digital and mass media demand generation tactics
  • Practice-level local & primary care patient acquisition
  • Strong PC skills including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, and Word.
  • Ability to plan and organize daily workload, manage constantly changing priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving work environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in a matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent decision making and problem-solving skills

 

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Non-patient facing
  • This position is US based remote with the ability to travel to FL, TX, CA, AZ, NY, NJ, PA, and other states as needed
  • Due to the national footprint of the company some meetings will be held outside local working hours to accommodate regional time zone preferences
  • May require sitting or standing for long periods, including stooping, bending & stretching for files and supplies
  • Requires occasional lifting of boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, type, operate calculator, copier, and such other office equipment as necessary
